Johan Wessels

Johan Wessels has extensive work experience in strategic advisory services and business consulting. Johan started working at Discon Specialists in 1998, where they served as a Senior Business Engineering Consultant. In this role, they managed the implementation of enterprise software systems, developed strategies and organizations, and facilitated strategic planning. Johan worked with clients such as Nike, Barclays, and the Government Department of Justice in various countries, including South Africa, the USA, and the Netherlands.

In 2006, Wessels joined Pigott & Associates as a Senior Management Consultant. Johan was responsible for supporting sourcing, contracting, and mobilization of integrated services contracts for international corporations. Additionally, they played a key role in implementing enterprise software systems and designing custom information systems solutions aligned with international standards.

Since 2015, Wessels has been working at eBusiness Strategies LLC. Johan initially joined as a Senior Business Consultant and later held the positions of Vice President and Senior VP of Strategic Advisory Services. Johan'sresponsibilities included developing procurement category strategies, implementing sourcing strategies, optimizing supplier relationship and performance management models, and overseeing the implementation of IBM TRIRIGA service management modules. Johan successfully deployed performance-based contracting models and IBM TRIRIGA modules, working with clients such as Chevron, PNC, PSEG, and Umpqua Bank in the industries of oil and gas, energy, retail banking, and utilities.

Throughout their career, Wessels has demonstrated expertise in system implementation, strategic planning, business process optimization, and project management. Johan'sexperience spans multiple industries and countries, making him a highly skilled and versatile professional in the field of strategic advisory services.

Johan Wessels obtained their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stellenbosch University, completing this program from 1992 to 1996. Following this, they pursued further education at the same institution and obtained a Post Graduate degree in Industrial Engineering from 1997 to 1998.
