Gavin Kimpson

Gavin Kimpson is a seasoned Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in PHP development, particularly within the Zend Framework and Laminas/Mezzio frameworks. Currently, at Ebuyer since September 2022, Gavin's expertise encompasses jQuery frontend development and Agile methodologies, along with proficiency in Docker and Vagrant. As a Mentor at Black Valley, Gavin contributes to enhancing diversity in the tech industry by guiding aspiring developers through an intensive program. Previous roles include Senior Software Engineer at SoCrowd, where responsibilities included full-stack development, project management, and cloud server maintenance, and foundational positions in various web development agencies. Gavin holds a PGCE in Post Compulsory Education (ICT) and a BA (Hons) in Multimedia Studies from the University of Wolverhampton.
