Robert Fried

Robert Fried is a seasoned professional in the field of digital forensics and investigations, currently serving as a Board Member and Editor of the Sleuth Scoop newsletter at the Society of Professional Investigators since March 2025. As the Senior Vice President and Global Head of Forensics and Investigation at Sandline Discovery LLC since April 2021, Robert has made significant contributions to the field. Additional roles include Fellow at the Henry C. Lee Institute of Forensic Science and Adjunct Faculty for the M.S. Investigations Graduate Program at the University of New Haven. Robert's writing contributions include articles for PI Magazine, focusing on cyber sleuthing. With a solid educational background in forensic science, Robert holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree from the University of New Haven. Previous positions have included senior roles at various organizations such as Consilio LLC, Huron, and DOAR, Inc., as well as advisory roles, showcasing an extensive career in digital forensics and expert services.
