Dan Baifus

Dan Baifus is a seasoned engineer specializing in product development within the medical instruments sector. Currently serving as a Product Development Engineer at ECA Medical Instruments since January 2022, Dan previously held the position of R&D Project Lead for the Compression Screw project at OSSIO, Ltd., where efforts were focused on developing bio-integrative orthopedic implants. Early in Dan's career, experience as an R&D Mechanical Engineer involved the design and development of the first screw implants and instruments at OSSIO. Earlier roles included an Engineering Intern position at King Nutronics Corp, contributing to the establishment of new PID software, and a Golf Ball Aerodynamics R&D Intern role at Callaway Golf, which involved designing an automated golf ball scanner. Dan Baifus earned a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and a Master’s Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
