Sabin Maharjan

Sabin Maharjan has three years of work experience. In 2020, they began working at ECAL.com as a Software Engineer, where they wrote high-performance applications in Go to sync a large number of events to millions of users calendars, extracted, transformed and loaded data from multiple sources following the framework into data warehouses and created PoCs based on the business requirements via research and analysis of tools and technologies. Sabin also worked as an Intern at ECAL.com, where they developed a node js chatbot in Slack to troubleshoot the customer calendar sync issues, learned new technologies such as GraphQL, Slack apps and AWS Services, deployed the solution in AWS Elastic Beanstalk using CI/CD process, and created a clean architectured API in Go utilising GraphQL service to fetch the object from MySQL database. Prior to that, they worked as an Android Developer at astuv software company from 2017 to 2020, where they gathered requirements from clients to build software programs, completed independent tasks in a team, and implemented and presented ideas, solutions to solve the problem of booking a futsal game.

Sabin Maharjan has a diverse educational background. Sabin obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Engineering from Kantipur Engineering College from 2014 to 2017. Sabin then earned a Master in Information Technology from Swinburne University of Technology from 2018 to 2020. Most recently, they completed a Professional Year from Australian Technical & Management College in 2021. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications from LinkedIn, Learning Functional Programming with JavaScript ES6+ in July 2020 and Building RESTful APIs with Node.js and Express in January 2020.
