dr Bénédicte Halba

Expert migration, international mobility & diversity (Europe & Worldwide)

Dr. Bénédicte Halba, PhD in Economics, is the founding President of the Institute for Research and Information on Volunteering (iriv), which they established in 1997 to enhance knowledge and practice in Lifelong Learning, particularly in the nonprofit sector. Bénédicte worked for the French Ministry for Youth and Sports from 1991 to 1994 and served as an expert for the Council of Europe. They have coordinated over 60 European projects focusing on themes such as Economics of Sport, Migration, and Diversity. Bénédicte has published numerous articles and books and has been a lecturer at various universities since 2000. Currently, they continue to contribute to discussions on migration issues and social inclusion through their work with the Swiss Foundation ECAP and various other initiatives.
