Emily Slocum currently serves as the Principal of the CHRO Search Practice at ECB STAR Group, a role held since July 2025. Prior to this position, Emily was the Senior Director at ChapmanCG from March 2024 to July 2025, focusing on global HR leadership talent acquisition. From March 2013 to March 2024, Emily was the Global Head of Client Success at GQR Global Markets, where recruitment expertise spanned multiple risk verticals. Emily also contributed as a board member to the Hedge Fund Association from May 2017 to May 2021 and served as Co-Deputy Regional Director at PRMIA from February 2014 to October 2017, facilitating educational initiatives in risk management. Earlier experience includes leading risk and insurance recruitment at Huxley Associates and engaging in development and alumnae relations at Simmons College. Emily holds a BA in Communications and Art Admin from Simmons University, obtained in 2009.
