Nils Jakobsons

Nils Jakobsons has a diverse range of work experience in the field of IT. Nils began their career as an Assistant at Riga Technical University, where they gained knowledge in UNIX, Linux, X-Windows, VAX mainframe, and network equipment. Nils then moved on to work as a Systems Administrator at DATI, where they managed corporate servers, network services, and provided user support.

Nils then worked as a Systems Analyst at Exigen Services, where they implemented and documented IBM Tivoli environment upgrades. Nils also worked as a Databases Administrator, responsible for managing CVS source repositories and providing support to software developers. Additionally, they subcontracted for the State Revenue Service to design and deploy a Tivoli management environment.

Nils'smost recent role was at Eccentex Corporation, where they worked as an Operations Research Analyst. In this role, they were responsible for infrastructure support of Dynamic Case Management PaaS/SaaS solution environments. Nils worked closely with engineering, operations, and development teams to build and maintain infrastructure in the cloud and on-premises. Nils also implemented custom solutions for cloud backup and data security.
