David Lane

David Lane is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the insurance and financial sectors. Currently serving as Managing Director for Ecclesiastical Insurance Group in Ireland since January 2012, Lane previously held the position of Managing Director for Western Europe at Genworth Financial from 2008 to early 2012, overseeing Lifestyle Protection operations across multiple countries. Lane's professional journey at Genworth also includes roles as Regional Director for the UK & Ireland and General Manager for Ireland, where a focus was placed on developing lifestyle protection business in collaboration with financial institutions. Earlier career roles include General Manager at Transamerica Insurance Finance Company in Ireland and Insurance Premium Finance Manager at KBC Bank Ireland. Lane holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Honors from University College Dublin, completed between 1985 and 1988.
