Sarah Pearson

Sarah Pearson has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Sarah began their career in 1988 at the South Yorkshire Police Service, where they worked as a Senior Service Improvement Officer for twelve years. In 2000, they joined the Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council as a Corporate Best Value Coordinator, responsible for conducting reviews and improving services.

In 2001, Sarah joined the Basselaw District Council as the Head of Community Engagement and Performance, where they managed various services and was a part of the Strategic Leadership Team. During their tenure, they handled strategic planning, policy development, performance management, and communication, amongst other responsibilities.

Moving to the private sector, Sarah joined the Zurich Insurance Company Ltd in 2011 as a Senior Strategic Risk Consultant. In 2019, Sarah worked at the Benefact Group before transitioning to Ecclesiastical Insurance UK, where they held the position of Enterprise Risk Management Consultant/Advisor. Sarah eventually became the Head of Enterprise Risk Management in May 2020.
