Mette Jensen

Mette Jensen is a seasoned Colour and Material Designer with a robust background in styling and drops, currently employed at ECCO since September 2019, where roles have included Junior Designer for Men's designs and POC & Hacks. Prior experience includes a position at BESTSELLER from August 2016 to September 2019, focusing on designs for PIECES Bags, Belts, and Shoes, as well as serving as a Design Assistant for PIECES Shoes. Mette has contributed as a guest teacher at Skals - Højskolen for design og håndarbejde in 2016 and worked as a Fitness Instructor for young disabled individuals at SUK region syddanmark from 2011 to 2016. Internships at Design Circus and ECCO Leather provided early career exposure in 2014, while earlier roles included a waitress at La Tapatia and sales positions at Telia and H&M. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Textile Design from Designskolen Kolding (2013-2015), a master class at Pensole Footwear Design Academy, and a Bachelor's degree in Textile Design from the same institution (2010-2013).
