Michael Solhøj is an experienced in-house counsel and legal manager with a robust background in intellectual property, commercial contracts, and legal strategy. They have served as Deputy General Counsel at ECCO since 2024, leading an international team and optimizing legal operations. Prior to this role, Michael was the Group Senior Director, Head of Group Intellectual Property at ECCO from 2018 to 2024, and they have also held academic positions as an external lecturer in copyright and contract law. Additionally, Michael is currently a board member of LES Scandinavia and an expert judge at the Danish Maritime and Commercial court. They hold degrees in commercial law and law from Aarhus School of Business and Aarhus University, as well as further qualifications from Nottingham Trent University.
