Ross Authers

Ross Authers is a seasoned technical manager with extensive experience in the footwear industry. Currently serving as Technical Manager at ECCO Shoes since October 2021, Ross previously held the role of Technical Sales Manager at Epiko - Footwear Solutions from May 2022 to September 2023. Notably, Ross spent over two decades at Clarks, where various positions included Global Head of Sample Management, Engineering Operations Manager, and Product Development Manager. In these roles, Ross demonstrated expertise in supply chain management, product development, and global project leadership while managing significant teams and budgets. Early in their career, Ross gained foundational skills at Next as a Footwear Technologist and Clarks, along with a mechanical engineering apprenticeship at BAE Systems, where accolades included 'Apprentice of the Year.' Educationally, Ross holds an HNC in Mechanical and Production Engineering and an ONC in Mechanical Engineering from Bridgwater & Taunton College.
