Sumit K Lal

Sumit K Lal is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the retail and business sectors, currently serving as the Managing Director of Retail One Solutions and Services Private Limited since July 2011. Lal has played a crucial role in crafting strategic retail solutions for clients. In addition to his work at ROSS, Lal holds positions as a Director on the Board at both ECCO Shoes India Private Limited and ECCO India Trading Private Limited, where responsibilities include launching the ECCO brand in India and leading strategic initiatives in the APAC region. Earlier career highlights include serving as Sales Head for TATA International and National Marketing Manager for Tirubala Leather Private Limited. Lal possesses an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Birla Institute of Technology and has relevant qualifications in Computer/Information Technology from Xavier Institute of Social Service and a B.Sc. in Physics, Maths, and Geology from St. Xavier's College.
