Bill Sweetnam

Bill Sweetnam is the Legislative and Technical Director at ECFC - Employers Council on Flexible Compensation, a position held since 2015. Previously, they served as Principal at Groom Law Group from 2005 to 2015, where they co-chaired the Policy and Legislation Group, guiding clients through employee benefit laws. With a strong background in legislative processes from roles at the U.S. Department of the Treasury and the U.S. Senate Committee on Finance, Bill has developed extensive expertise in tax-advantaged benefit programs. Bill earned a Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law in 1982.
