A. Richard Goodman is Founder & Chairman of ECG Consulting Group. Dick has extensive experience working with Fortune 500 businesses and emerging technology firms introducing new technologies, products and services in the energy, materials, distribution and manufacturing industries. He specializes in strategy development, implementation planning, sales and distribution, operations management and financing issues.
Prior to founding ECG, Dick was an adjunct professor at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he taught marketing, management and strategic planning. He also served as Associate Director at the State University of New York Foundation where he was responsible for promoting economic development in New York State. Earlier in his career, he founded and served as President of Furnapco Inc., which operated leased departments in the discount retail industry and he was Vice President and General Merchandise Manager at Union-Fern Inc., a chain of home-furnishings stores.
He holds a BA, in Economics, from Williams College and an MBA, from Harvard Business School.
