Allen Goodman, President of ECG, plays a critical role in helping the firm’s U.S. and international clients accelerate business growth and development. Allen’s clients range from Fortune 500 global market leaders and emerging technology companies to R&D organizations and private equity firms in the energy & environmental, specialty materials, electronics, communications, supply chain and aerospace industries.
Prior to joining ECG, Allen was Vice President, Planning & Analysis at Simon & Schuster, where he helped restructure the $2 billion publishing and information technology firm. While there, he helped streamline and integrate operations from more than 50 acquisitions, achieving operating cost savings of more than $100 million. At Booz Allen & Hamilton, Allen specialized in strategic market planning, technology commercialization and business restructuring for U.S., Canadian, Japanese, U.K. and French firms in the information technology, energy and telecommunications industries. He worked in New York and London and helped develop the firm’s global strategic plan for its information industry management consulting practice.
He holds an AB, in Economics, Harvard University and an MBA, from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
