Jamal Madbak is an accomplished insurance executive with extensive experience in the commercial lines sector. Currently serving as Vice President of Commercial Lines at Echelon Insurance since January 2017, Jamal leads the national business in this area. Previously, Jamal held the position of Vice President for Property and Marine at Ace Ina, where responsibilities included overseeing underwriting divisions and managing a profitable major accounts portfolio. Additional roles include Chief Underwriting Officer at Ecclesiastical Insurance Group, Head of Property for Canada at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty, and Senior Commercial Lines Underwriter at Zurich Financial Services. Jamal began a career in insurance at Aviva and held a leadership position at Jordan International Investment Group. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Economics and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the American University of Beirut, alongside qualifications from the Chartered Insurance Institute.
