Joe Colby

Joe Colby has extensive experience in claims management within the insurance industry, currently serving as Vice President of Claims for Canada at Echelon Insurance since September 2017. In this role, Joe leads Canadian claim operations, managing over 250 staff and overseeing the handling of 35,000 new property and casualty claims annually. Previous positions include Senior Vice President and Head of Claims for Canada and the English Caribbean at Swiss Re, Vice President of Claims at Jevco Insurance Company, and Director/Head of Ontario Claims at RSA. Joe's career began at Aviva Canada as a Claims Manager, and Joe holds a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation from the Insurance Institute of Canada.
