Laura Ligda is a seasoned insurance professional with extensive experience in accident benefits and claims management. Currently serving as Unit Manager for Accident Benefits at Echelon Insurance since January 2021, Laura oversees claims processed by independent adjusters, provides guidance, and participates in large loss evaluations. Previously, Laura held roles at Allstate as a LAT adjuster and at Desjardins as a Claims Advisor in litigation. Laura's career began at State Farm as a Claims Representative specializing in dispute resolution and extended into client services at CMG Marketing, where project management skills were honed. An academic background includes a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Linguistics from York University, complemented by experience as a teaching assistant.
