Marisol Vasquez

Marisol Vasquez is an experienced translation and language services professional with a strong background in management and client relations. Currently serving as Translation Services Manager and Senior Translator at Echelon Insurance since March 2020, Marisol also founded The Language Club in April 2015, where multi-language workshops for a Facebook community of 3,000 members are developed. Previous roles include self-employed translator and communications consultant from December 2000 to March 2020, and a translator-terminologist at Nortel Networks, where Marisol contributed to the development of key translation tools and managed translation staff. Marisol holds a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics and Philology with a focus on terminology and translation from Université de Montréal, along with extensive experience in enhancing language teaching initiatives and building strong community connections.
