Douglas R. Waggoner

Douglas R. Waggoner is the current Chairman & CEO at Echo Global Logistics. Douglas has over 30 years of experience in the transportation industry.

Douglas started their career at Consolidated Freightways in 1986 as the Alaska Sales Manager. Douglas then moved to YRC Worldwide where they held various positions over the next 12 years. In 1998, they became the President & COO of Daylight Transport and held that position until 2002.

In 2002, they joined USF Corporation as SVP Strategy. Douglas was with USF until 2004 when they became the President & CEO of USF Bestway. Douglas held that position until 2006 when they founded Selectrans, LLC, a SaaS Transportation Management Software company.

From 2006 to 2008, they were the Vice President of Yellow Transportation, Inc. In 2008, they rejoined USF Corporation as Chairman & CEO. Douglas held that position until 2011 when they joined Echo Global Logistics as Chairman & CEO.

Douglas R. Waggoner has a BA in Economics from San Diego State University.
