Josh Akena

Josh Akena has over 6 years of work experience. In 2015, they began as an Exercise Technician/ Group Exercise Trainer at Grand Valley State University, where they created and sold workout programs and health services, as well as instructed clients in three different exercise classes for 8hrs/wk. In 2016, they worked as a Customer Service Representative at Teleperformance Nordic, where they answered and kept calls under 3.5 minutes while maintaining a good customer service. Josh also worked as a Long Term Substitute Teacher at Sigtuna kommun, where they handled and taught children and youth from the age of 6 utill 13, and helped out those who needed extra attention in order to succeed in the classroom. In 2017, they became a Sales Representative at Telia Company, providing customer service through daily interraction with private and corporate customers. In 2018, they worked as a Personal Trainer at Nordic Wellness, where they promoted, managed sales of services, scheduled meetings with clients, prescribed and engaged clients different exercise routines. In 2019, they worked as an Account Manager at Nets Group. In 2020, they worked as an Account Manager at Struqtur, and a Long Term Substitute Teacher at Sigtuna kommun. Josh is currently active as a Business Development Executive at Echo State AB since 2022.

Josh Akena attended Rudbeck Gymnasium from 2008 to 2010. Josh then went on to receive their high school diploma from Ovid-Elsie high school in 2011. Afterward, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Exercise Science, with a minor in Psychology, from Grand Valley State University between 2011 and 2016.
