Phelan Bybee

Phelan Bybee has worked in a variety of roles in the software engineering and bioinformatics fields. In 2021, they began working as a Software Engineer at Echodyne, and as a Firmware Engineer at Know Labs, Inc., where they wrote code to control frequency generation and analog-to-digital converters, concurrent python process software, and data visualization software. In 2020, they were a Bioinformatics Software Engineer in Test at Illumina, where they developed a testing framework for bioinformatics pipelines. In 2019, they were a Software Engineer at NanoString Technologies, Inc., where they were a sustaining engineer on the SPRINT platform. In 2017, they were a Software Engineer at ProteinSimple. In 2015, they were a Software Engineer at Roche Sequencing. In 2014, they were a System Integration Test Analyst at Roche Molecular Systems, and an Embedded Systems Test Intern at Medtronic. In 2013, they were a Research Assistant at the NIH Clinical Internship at Purdue University. In 2010, they were a Clinical-Systems Engineer at St. Jude Medical, where they worked on developing class III medical devices, pacemaker and implantable defibrillator technology.
