Skyler Martens has worked in the technology, engineering, and swim coaching fields. From 2011 to 2016, they worked as a Senior Lifeguard and Assistant Swim Coach at the Gregory Seahurst Swim Club. In this role, they coached over 150 kids from age 7 to 18 and was responsible for helping them improve their swimming, team, and leadership skills, interacting with parents, and signing swimmers up for swim meets. In 2016, they became the Head Swim Coach at the Gregory Seahurst Swim Club, where they managed a swim team of close to 175 swimmers between the ages of 7 and 18. Skyler led the team to its first top six finish at All City (SSSL championship swim meet) in 15 years. In 2017, they began working as an Algorithm Engineer at Echodyne Corp. Most recently, they have been a Technology Experience Intern at T-Mobile.
Skyler Martens attended the University of Washington from 2013 to 2017, studying both Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering and Electrical Engineering.
