Jean Michel Diaz has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. In 2013, they worked at Bertelsmann SE & Co. KGaA as a Corporate Student in International Management. Jean Michel later became a Co-Founder & Managing Director at MomentMap UG (haftungsbeschränkt), where they built a geolocation-based social network. In 2016, they joined Deutsche Post Adress GmbH & Co. KG as a Management Associate to the CEO, leading internal lean process management initiatives. Jean Michel then worked at Arvato North America as a Business Development & Sales professional in Advanced Analytics. In 2018, they returned to Deutsche Post Adress GmbH & Co. KG as a Solution Consultant. In 2019, they co-founded Echometer, where they take on the role of Co-Founder & Managing Director, focusing on improving employee engagement. Jean Michel also participated in the Founders Accelerator program at Founders Foundation gGmbH during 2019-2020. Currently, they serve as a Co-Host for Agile World Deutsch and is a participant in the xdeck Accelerator 2021 program.

Jean Michel Diaz completed their high school education at Gymnasium Nepomucenum Rietberg, graduating with a High School Diploma in 2013. Following this, they enrolled at FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International Management from 2013 to 2017. In 2016, they also participated in the Summer Sessions program at the University of California, Berkeley, focusing on Computer Science and International Business.

In addition to their formal education, Diaz obtained additional certifications. In May 2015, they achieved the certification of Industriekaufmann mit Bestnote from IHK Ostwestfalen zu Bielefeld. Furthermore, in February 2020, they obtained the Professional Scrum Master (PSM1) certification from Scrum.org.
