Karin Geisendörfer has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Karin is currently the Team Lead Customer Success & Product Strategist at Echometer since April 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Siegwerk as the Digital Team Lead & Product Owner from June 2018 to March 2021. Before that, they held multiple roles at Philips Lighting, including Global Marketing Manager Smart Cities and B2G from January 2016 to May 2018, Global Product Management/ Product Marketing Road & Street (CityTouch) from August 2014 to November 2016, and various other positions as a Master Thesis Student and Working Student. Karin also has experience interning at Henkel, Philips Automotive, L'Oréal, and AIFS in different marketing and sales roles.

Karin Geisendörfer has a diverse education history. In 2008-2011, they attended Universität Passau where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Business Administration and Economics. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Marketing & Management at Boston University from 2010-2011. In 2012-2014, they attended FH Aachen and earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in International Business Management.

Additionally, Karin has participated in several certification programs. In 2022, they completed the Fundamentals (XXL) Extension and Fundamentals Online Workshop offered by Management 3.0. In 2023, they obtained certifications as a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and a Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) from Scrum.org.

Karin has also pursued further learning through various courses. Karin completed the Introduction to Big Data course on Coursera in 2017 and the Digital Foundations course at General Assembly in the same year. Furthermore, in 2022-2023, they studied Systemischer Coach and Change Manager at INeKO - Institut a. d. Universität zu Köln für die Entwicklung personaler und interpers. Kompetenzen.
