Mindy Zald

Mindy Zald is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in the accessories industry. Currently serving as Division Lead at Echo Design Group since June 2024, Mindy also contributes as a member of the Women in Retail Leadership Circle. Previously, Mindy held the role of Vice President of Design for Accessories at Centric Brands Inc., where responsibilities included managing a team of 20 designers and overseeing a $200M annual product line for major brands such as Michael Kors and Calvin Klein. Mindy has a strong history of launching successful product lines, optimizing sourcing initiatives, and collaborating with sales teams to ensure market adoption of key styles. Mindy's career also includes significant design roles at Global Brands Group, Spirit Leather Works, Concept One Accessories, Cipriani Accessories/The Max Leather Group, and Urban Outfitters. Mindy holds a BA in Retail from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
