Richard Caulfield, Ph.D., serves as Project Manager at Echopoint Medical Ltd, where responsibilities include overseeing the final development phase and FDA submission of the Echopoint iKOr microcatheter system. Prior experience includes leading an R&D team at a start-up focused on a new coronary physiology microcatheter system aimed at addressing unmet needs in vascular disease diagnosis. Richard completed a PhD in Medical Physics at UCL, specializing in high-resolution 3D printing for minimally invasive fibre optic sensing and imaging probes. Additional clinical research experiences include shadowing clinicians at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust and National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. Richard's academic background includes an MRes in Medical Imaging from UCL and an MSci in Physics with Medical Applications from Queen's University Belfast.
