Bill Giglio

Bill Giglio has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Bill is currently working as a Network & Security Specialist at EchoStor Technologies since 2022. Prior to that, from 2018 to 2022, they served as a Senior Network Engineer at C2 - Competitive Computing.

From 2011 to 2018, Bill worked at Vertek Corporation as a Provisioning Engineer. In this role, they conducted technical interviews with customers to determine their provisioning requirements for voice, data, and secure Internet access over MPLS VPNs. Bill also served as a technical lead for a pilot Technical Assistance Center project.

Before that, they were the Technical Director at Legacy Fiberoptics from 2008 to 2010. Bill designed and implemented a network to support the business requirements of a small calibration lab, utilizing both Microsoft and Linux servers.

At ZettaView Systems, from 2007 to 2009, Bill started as a part-time Network Consultant and later worked full-time auditing customer networks using their product. Bill also transferred the product from Utica to a new office in Chicago and set up/configured their testing lab.

From 2004 to 2008, Bill worked at Anritsu Instruments Company. Bill initially served as a Support Engineer, responsible for interfacing between R&D and manufacturing facilities in Japan for OTDR modules. Later, they worked as a Design Verification/Technical Support Engineer, developing and executing test plans for network monitoring devices and providing technical support to customers.

Bill Giglio has a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Information Security and Assurance from Western Governors University, which they obtained from 2009 to 2011. Bill also has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Information Technology from the same university, which they earned from 2006 to 2008.

In terms of additional certifications, Bill Giglio has obtained numerous certifications. These include the Google Project Management Certificate from Coursera, the Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals and Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft, the VMware Certified Associate - Digital Business Transformation 2020 from VMware, and the 4011 Training Standard and 4012 Training Standard from CNSS - National Security Systems, all obtained in different years.

In addition, Bill Giglio has acquired several certifications from Zscaler, including the Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) Certified Delivery Specialist, Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) Certified Professional, Zscaler Digital Experience (ZDX) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) Certified Administrator, and Zero Trust Certified Architect (ZTCA). Bill also holds the Cisco Certified Specialist - Security Core from Cisco, the Aruba Certified Mobility Professional V8 (ACMP) from Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company, the Certified Meraki Network Associate from Cisco Meraki, and the Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
