Derek Grant

Derek Grant has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Derek currently holds the position of VP Technical Strategy at EchoStor Technologies since May 2020. Prior to this, Derek worked at Dell EMC from 2016 to 2020, where they held various roles including Director, Enterprise Northeast System Engineering, Modern Data Center Team and Sr Manager, Systems Engineering - Modern Infrastructure Team. Before Dell EMC, Derek was the Director of the Girls Program at Natick Lacrosse from 2012 to 2017. Derek also worked at Dell EMC XtremIO as an Advisory Systems Engineer - Flash Technologies from 2013 to 2016. In addition, Derek has experience as a Principal Solutions Consultant at EchoStor Technologies, a Technical Account Manager at Pure Storage, and a Senior Systems Engineer at NetApp. Derek also served as a Regional Sales and Technical Manager at Sales Strategies, Inc., and a Senior System Engineer at Connex (A Western Digital Venture). Derek started their career as a Senior Technical Consultant at Numeric Investors LLC.

Derek Grant completed their high school education at Lincoln Sudbury Regional High School from 1984 to 1988. Derek then pursued their higher education at Norwich University from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems.
