George Stubbs

George Stubbs has accumulated extensive work experience in the field of systems architecture and engineering. George is currently employed as a Systems Architect at EchoStor Technologies since February 2022. Prior to this, they were associated with GMO for a remarkable duration of 13 years, starting in March 2009 and concluding in January 2022. During their tenure at GMO, they held the position of Systems Engineer, wherein they were responsible for overseeing both physical and virtual infrastructure, process standardization, and automation.

Before joining GMO, George worked as a Consultant at Systems Infrastructure from 2008 to 2009. George was employed at Fidelity Investments for a substantial period, starting in 1994 and ending in 2008. Here, they held various roles such as Director (September 1999 to February 2008), Sr OS Manager (April 1998 to September 1999), Systems Manager (January 1997 to April 1998), Project Manager (January 1996 to December 1996), and Technical App Specialist (September 1994 to December 1995).

Furthermore, they gained experience as a Senior Systems Engineer at Control Data Corporation from 1992 to 1994. George's career started at Cambridgeport Savings Bank, where they held the position of DP Manager/Network Manager from 1988 to 1992, as well as Systems Support Analyst from 1986 to 1988.

George Stubbs completed their Master's degree in Computer Information Systems from Boston University in 1992. Additionally, they obtained several certifications, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2022, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional from AWS in May 2023, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Stack Hub Operator Associate from Microsoft in January 2023.
