Andrew Hockey

Andrew Hockey has a diverse work experience in the oil and gas industry and has held various positions throughout their career. Andrew is currently the Chief Executive Officer at ECITB since 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Non-Executive Director at Chariot Limited from 2019. At IOG Plc, they worked as an Advisor to the Board from 2022 to 2023, and as a CEO from 2018 to 2022. Andrew Hockey also held roles at Fairfield Energy, where they were a Non-Executive Director and the General Manager of Business Development. Andrew also formed their own consulting firm, Andrew Hockey Advisory Limited, to provide consulting services to the industry. Additionally, they were the Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Independent Oil and Gas Plc and served on the board of Sound Energy Plc as a Non-Executive Director and Chairman. Before that, they worked at ENI and LASMO in various managerial roles. Their experience also includes working as an Exploration Manager at Monument Oil and Gas.

Andrew Hockey earned a BA degree in Geology/Earth Science, General from the University of Oxford, attending from 1978 to 1981. Subsequently, they pursued an MSc degree in Petroleum Geology at Imperial College London, attending from 1983 to 1984.
