Derek Gosney

Derek Gosney currently serves as the Manager of Special Projects in Program Development at Eckerd Connects, a position held since August 2019, focusing on national growth and transformation efforts through collaboration on funding proposals. Prior to this role, Derek was the Director of Strategic Projects at Lutheran Services Florida, assisting the Chief Strategy Officer in executing the strategic plan and managing the Project Management Office. Additional experience includes serving as the Director of Volunteer Engagement at Metropolitan Ministries and a full year as an AmeriCorps VISTA member. Derek's career began in the United States Air Force, where leadership in technical fields and recruitment spanned over 22 years. Derek earned a Master of Business Administration from the American Public University System between 2014 and 2016.
