Gene Yeo

Gene is a professor of cellular and molecular medicine at UC San Diego. He is an international leader in RNA biology, pioneering a unique multi-disciplinary approach that combines cell and molecular biology, biochemistry, genomics, and computational biology. Dr. Yeo is also co-founder of RNA therapeutics companies Locana, Proteona and Trotana, and is on the scientific advisory board of Ribometrix, Sardona, LGC and Biospyder. He has published more than 200 peer-reviewed papers, many in top journals including Cell, Science and Nature.
