Thabang Mashologu

Thabang Mashologu serves as the Vice President of Community & Outreach at the Eclipse Foundation, overseeing global community program management, marketing, outreach, and engagement for the organization and its numerous industry collaborations. Additionally, Thabang is a Board Member for Eclipse Foundation Canada and has held various leadership roles, including Vice President of Marketing and Community Programs at the Eclipse Foundation, VP of Operations and Community Programs at The Linux Foundation, and Vice President of Marketing at Zenhub. Current responsibilities also include serving as a Liaison Representative for the Eclipse Foundation in ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 38 Cloud and Distributed Computing and as an Executive Committee Member for the Java Community Process. Previous experience encompasses product management and strategy roles at CENX and Exinda Networks, along with significant contributions to Allstream's Data and Security business. Thabang holds an MBA from the University of Ottawa, a B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering from Carleton University, and a B.Sc. in Physics from Simon Fraser University.
