Zachary Muriithi

Head Of Credit Management And Marketing at ECLOF Kenya

Zachary Muriithi has significant work experience in the microfinance industry. Since 2006, they have worked for multiple organizations in various roles. Zachary started as a Credit Officer at Faulu Microfinance Bank in 2006 and later served as a Kiva Project Coordinator and Manager of Special Projects. From 2009 to 2011, they were a Church Business Project Manager at the same bank. In 2013, they joined ECLOF International as a Microfinance Consultant, where they provided consultancy services to ECLOF Uganda, Tanzania, and Zambia. Zachary also served as a Social Performance Manager, working on developing a reporting framework for 19 countries where ECLOF operates. Zachary later joined ECLOF Kenya, where they held multiple roles, including Special Projects Coordinator, Head of Marketing and Business Development, and a member of the Transformation to Microfinance Bank Committee. Zachary also worked as a Trustee at Kiva Zip and General Manager at One Call Credit Limited. Currently, they serve as the Head of Credit Management and Marketing at ECLOF Kenya. In 2019, they became a Director at Teeshah Investments Company Ltd.

Zachary Muriithi has completed a Microfinance Master Course at the Boulder Institute of Microfinance. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, with a specialization in Marketing, from Mount Kenya University. Zachary has also obtained another Bachelor's degree in Christian Counselling from the United Graduate College and Seminary.
