Joana MRodrigues is a seasoned professional in food quality and safety, currently serving as a Food Quality and Safety Technician and Lab Analyst at Empresa de Cervejas da Madeira since February 2014. Joana has academic experience as a Professor Adjunto Convidado at Universidade da Madeira from February 2019 to February 2022, teaching courses on Food Preservation and Technology, Internship Guidance, Food Safety, and Culinary Innovation Projects. Prior roles include a Master's thesis project analyzing seaweed for gastronomic use, a Food Technician in the Viticulture and Winemaking department at Instituto do Vinho, do Bordado e do Artesanato da Madeira, and a Food Technician at Instituto de Administração da Saúde e dos Assuntos Sociais. Joana holds a Master’s degree in Food Engineering and Food Science and a Licentiate's Degree in Food Engineering, both from Agrarian Superior School of Coimbra.
