Jessica Haselton has a diverse work experience in the fields of philanthropy and social impact. Jessica began their career as an Assistant Director at the Diane and Norman Bernstein Foundation, where they oversaw grant distribution and worked to improve the lives of low-income residents in Washington, DC. Jessica then joined the American Jewish World Service as a Volunteer Corps Consultant, providing pro-bono consulting and capacity building expertise to an NGO serving migrant Burmese youth. At Margery Tabankin and Associates, they advised a philanthropic consulting firm on scaling their impact and developing a corporate social responsibility department. Jessica also interned at REDF, where they provided business development support to a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping homeless individuals.
Jessica pursued their MBA at USC Marshall School of Business and was involved in various social and environmental-focused initiatives. Jessica served as the President of Marshall Net Impact, leading a student club and directing social and environmental-focused education and career development.
After completing their MBA, Jessica joined the Clinton Global Initiative as a Project Manager, where they designed impact measurement frameworks and key performance indicators to assess the organization's social and environmental-focused projects. Jessica also conducted quantitative analysis and created reports and case studies to inform knowledge management.
Jessica then transitioned to TriLinc Global, LLC, where they initially worked as a Project Manager, contributing to impact-focused investment funds in developing economies globally. Jessica later took on the role of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications, engaging with investors and communicating the social, environmental, and financial impact of the company's investments.
Currently, Jessica is with ECMC Foundation, serving as the Director of Education Innovation Ventures. In this role, they lead the program-related investment portfolio focused on improving postsecondary education and economic mobility for underserved individuals. Jessica also serves as an advisory board member for the Employment Technology Fund and as a board member of Edquity.
Jessica Haselton completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a Certificate of Entrepreneurship from the USC Marshall School of Business. Jessica attended this program from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan, where they studied from 2003 to 2007.
