Evelyn Giannopoulos currently serves as the Associate Director of Education at the Upper Grand District School Board, overseeing educational initiatives for over 35,000 students. Additionally, Evelyn is a board member of the Education Collaborative Network of Ontario (ECNO) and co-chair of the Professional Learning Committee at the Ontario Public Supervisory Officers’ Association (OPSOA). Evelyn's extensive background in education includes a long tenure at the Waterloo Region District School Board, where roles included Superintendent of Student Achievement and Well-Being, Principal, and Vice Principal. With educational qualifications that include a Master of Education in International Leadership and degrees from Queen's University and Trent University, Evelyn is committed to fostering equitable leadership and enhancing educational outcomes for all students.

Leadership In and Out of the Classroom: ECNO is a member driven organization that serves all Ontario school boards. We deliver forward-thinking IT services that improve classroom learning and create administrative efficiencies. Our Value-Added Reseller (VAR) relationship with Microsoft has saved school boards over $6.5million, our ECNO vetted cashless school systems are up and running in 54 boards, and over 30 boards are using our shared services platform. As one of the most successful co-operative ventures in the history of Education in Ontario, ECNO is truly greater than the sum of its parts.
