Dominick Salvatore

Dr. Dominick Salvatore is a Distinguished Professor and Director of the Ph.D. Program in Economics at Fordham University in New York City. He is President of the North American Economic and Finance Association, Past President of International Trade and Finance Association (1994 to 1996) and Chairperson of the New York Academy of Sciences (1998 to 2002).

In addition, Dr. Salvatore is a Fellow of the New York Academy of Sciences and a Research Associate of the Vienna University of Economics and Business. He has served as a consultant to the United Nations, World Bank, International Monetary Fund, and Economic Policy Institute in Washington, D.C. In 1997, he received an “Achievement Award” from City University of New York. Dr. Salvatore was also appointed “Honorary Professor” by the University of Shanghai in 2005 and Strathmore’s Who’s Who, Professional of the Year in Education in 2006.
