Eco-Catalyst solutions allow producer responsibility organizations, repairers and recyclers to design, track and optimize product recovery and recycling programs for greatest value from post-consumption materials in a wide range of industries – enabling the success of a circular economy that up-cycles and re-uses materials wherever possible!

Eco-Catalyst imagines a future where as many consumer products as possible are diverted from the landfill and routed back into manufacturing. Social Businesses can use our software solutions to take advantage of existing municipal infrastructure, end-of-life responsibilities from brands, and even consumer resale to find solutions for re-use, repair, and repurposing.

As an example, approximately 100 billion apparel items are produced every year, and 85% of this goes directly to landfill or incineration. The annual carbon cost of apparel is estimated to be 1.2 billion tons of CO2, not to mention the many human safety costs as well. This presents a huge environmental and economic opportunity to salvage these textiles and extend their life cycle.
