Eco-Cycle
Rosie Briggs is an experienced environmental professional currently serving as the Public Education & Engagement Senior Manager at Eco-Cycle since February 2024. Prior to this, Rosie worked as an Outreach and Engagement Specialist at the Colorado Energy Office from September 2023 to February 2024 and held multiple roles at Eco-Cycle from 2017 to 2023, including Community Engagement and Education Manager, Eco-Leader Network Manager, and Campaigns Coordinator. In these positions, Rosie developed and managed community engagement strategies, facilitated partnerships, and communicated critical information regarding climate, pollution, and waste solutions. Education includes a Master's degree in Natural Resource Stewardship from Colorado State University and two Bachelor's degrees in Environmental Studies and Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Colorado Boulder.
Eco-Cycle
Eco-Cycle is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization committed to finding solutions to climate change through the concepts and practices of Zero Waste. We were created in 1976 by Boulder, Colorado residents who had a passionate belief in conserving our natural resources. These Eco-Cycle volunteers brought recycling to town in 1976, making Boulder one of the first 20 communities in the U.S. to offer curbside recycling. Eco-Cycle is one of the oldest and the largest non-profit recycler in the USA, and has an international reputation as a pioneer and innovator in resource conservation. Eco-Cycle’s mission is to innovate, implement, and advocate for local and global Zero Waste solutions to foster a more regenerative, equitable, and climate-resilient future.
