Juliana Castro Escobar is a consultor at E Co. since January 2024, with extensive experience in environmental and development sectors. Previously, as a Programme Associate at Earth Security, Juliana built partnerships for financing conservation of high mountain ecosystems. A former Research Assistant at the Grantham Research Institute focused on climate finance, Juliana also managed multiple projects for the Amazon Conservation Team and conducted policy research for WWF Colombia. As a founding partner of Sinestesia ONG, Juliana contributed to the Colombian Peace Process, and earlier roles included project management for USAID and research roles at Universidad de los Andes. Juliana holds an MSc in Environment and Development from The London School of Economics and a degree in Political Science from Universidad de Los Andes.
