Michiel van de Vis

Michiel van de Vis has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Michiel is currently working as a Full Stack Engineer at Eco-movement B.V. starting from December 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Mimecast as a DMARC architect from November 2019 to October 2021. Michiel also has experience as the Founder and Chief Architect at DMARC Analyzer, where they focused on protecting domains against phishing using DMARC. Michiel held this role from July 2019 to November 2019. Before that, they were the Founder and CTO of DMARC Analyzer from an unspecified date in 2012 to June 2019.

Earlier in their career, Michiel worked as a Partner at E-ngine BV, a company that provides user-friendly e-mail marketing software. Michiel held this position from January 2007 to September 2017. Prior to that, they were the Owner of ROTOR Solutions BV, a web development company, from April 2005 to December 2015. Michiel also completed an internship at Vision Computer BV, where they created a webshop linked to a Navision Database. This internship took place from September 2004 to June 2005. Moreover, they worked on an application for Arai Helmets during an internship at IT's Logic BV, where they also maintained several small websites. This internship lasted from September 2001 to June 2002.

Michiel van de Vis completed their VWO at Johannes Fontanus College from 1995 to 2001. Michiel then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) from 2001 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications in Developing and Delivering Software with Docker from LinkedIn in October 2020 and became a Certified Laravel Developer through Laravel Certification in January 2018.
