Sander Ouwerkerk

Sander Ouwerkerk is an experienced executive with a robust background in operations, electrification, and business development within the electric vehicle (EV) and energy sectors. Currently serving as Chief Operations Officer at Eco-Movement since June 2025, Sander previously held key positions at B–ON, where roles included Chief Electrification Sales for B-ON CONNECT and Head of Revenue Europe for B-ON eOS. As the founder of BlueBird Power, Sander contributed to advancing renewable energy integration. Prior experience includes significant leadership roles at Shell Recharge Solutions, where Sander was Chief Innovation Officer and Chief Product Officer, and at (The)NewMotion, where Sander served as Chief Executive Officer. Sander's career is distinguished by strategic partnerships, innovative product developments, and impactful contributions to standardization initiatives in the EV industry. Educational credentials include an MSc in Electrical Engineering from Delft University of Technology and two MBAs from the University of Cape Town and UCLA Anderson School of Management.
