Léo Barruol

Léo BARRUOL currently serves as Principal Portfolio & Partnerships Manager at EcoAct France since October 2021, previously holding the position of Portfolio & Partnerships Senior Consultant. Prior experience includes working as a Parliamentary attaché at Assemblée nationale from July 2017 to September 2021 and an intern at UNESCO in the Office of the Director-General. Léo also completed internships at the Ministry of the Environment during COP21, with the European Commission as a Blue Book Trainee, and with the United Nations World Food Programme as a public affairs consultant. Academic qualifications consist of a Master's degree in International Public Management from Sciences Po, complemented by further studies at ENA, UCL, and Université de Montréal. Léo's research interests focused on international relations, particularly China-Africa dynamics in agriculture, development, and education, as well as policies within the sugar and ethanol sectors.
