Kevin Tran has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Kevin started their career in 2000 at Tran's Carpet Cleaning, where they built and maintained client relationships, assisted with marketing initiatives, and implemented a sales tracking system. From 2007 to 2010, they worked at The NPD Group as a Data Analyst and later as a Category Data Manager, providing analytical insights and managing data collection and validation for consumer electronics products. In 2010, Kevin transitioned to the restaurant industry and worked as a Restaurant Manager at Mignon Pho + Grill, where they conducted strategic revenue analysis, managed business development, and oversaw front-of-house operations. In 2012, they joined Computer Market Research, Ltd. and held various roles, including Data Analyst, Channel Business Analyst, and Professional Services Business Analyst Lead. Kevin worked on projects involving data management, sales analysis, and relationship building with key clients. Since 2017, Kevin has been working at ecoATM Gazelle, where they have held roles such as Business Analyst and Manager in the Sales Ops & Analytics and Revenue Management & Sales Analytics departments.

Kevin Tran attended San Diego State University from 2002 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics. In addition to their formal education, Kevin has also obtained several certifications. In September 2020, they completed the Anaplan Lvl 1 Model Building certification from Anaplan. Kevin also holds a certification in R Programming, which they obtained in May 2015 from Coursera Verified Certificates. In the same year, Kevin acquired another certification called "The Data Scientist's Toolbox" from the same institution.
