Nnamdi Nwafor is a seasoned banking professional with extensive experience in non-performing loan (NPL) recovery and management within the African financial sector. Currently serving as Team Lead/Remedial Manager at Ecobank Transnational Incorporated since June 2017, Nnamdi plays a key role on the Management Committee (MANCO) and is responsible for the development and execution of strategies for NPL recovery across various portfolios in Nigeria and other Ecobank affiliates throughout Sub-Saharan Africa. Previously, Nnamdi held multiple leadership positions at Ecobank Nigeria, including Team Lead for the Consumer/Commercial Remedial Unit, where responsibilities included strategic recovery initiatives and negotiations with high-net-worth clients.
