Donald Nelson

Donald Nelson is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in operational leadership across various industries, including aerospace and manufacturing. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Ecobat since January 2025, Nelson previously held similar COO roles at Crenlo Engineered Cabs and UGN, Inc., demonstrating a strong track record in P&L management and operational efficiency. At Twin Disc, Nelson was Vice President of Global Operations, overseeing multiple facilities in Europe and the U.S. Notably, as President of Aerospace at Rexnord, Nelson successfully led a turnaround strategy for a $200 million business. Nelson's career includes key positions at UCI-FRAM Group and Alcoa, as well as foundational experience at Boeing. Nelson holds a BS in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Kansas and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis, supplemented by executive education at Harvard Business School and the University of Michigan.
